Adam and his design team practically crawled into our brains, listened to our deepest sunroom desires, and somehow filtered out all the “no way” ideas we didn't even realize we hated. Their fancy 3D design software? A literal game-changer. We could see our dream sunroom before a single nail was hammered—like HGTV, but without the fake drama.Now, let’s talk about the chaos they had to deal with: city regulations that seemed written by people who hate fun, permit challenges that could’ve made grown men cry, and gas and hydro lines that were placed like some cruel cosmic joke. Yet, they handled all of this like pros, leaving us blissfully unaware of the potential disaster lurking beneath our yard. I was ready for a stress-fueled breakdown, but nope—Deck City was a human Xanax.Then came the pièce de résistance: I asked for a custom sunflower design on our privacy screen, expecting a Pinterest fail, but what they delivered was straight-up art. I was genuinely speechless, which for me, is like spotting a unicorn. It was as if Adam downloaded my brain and turned my vague, "I dunno, make it pretty?" into a masterpiece. And then they didn’t stop there—they carried that sunflower magic through the entire sunroom. I don’t know if Adam’s secretly a wizard or just very in tune with his sunflower vibe, but whatever it is, he nailed it.The construction crew? Absolute legends. Polite, friendly, and so meticulous I’m convinced they could build a sunroom on the moon. And they cleaned up every day. I mean, who does that? They even loved their jobs, which is rare these days. The owner? He’d pop by frequently, and the crew would light up like puppies seeing their favorite human. You could just tell—this guy isn’t a boss, he’s the team’s hype man.Now, our sunroom? It's basically a vacation home without the pesky "leaving the house" part. It’s our personal “cottage” where everyone wants to hang out, and it’s all thanks to Deck City. If there was an award for "Best Sunroom Ever," we’d be polishing that trophy right now

I know Covid really caused delays and distress for all. I had contacted a deck contractor in April and was told I had to wait til August for my privacy screen. I called in July to confirm and was told they would come out to make measurements. They never came and August flew into September. I was concerned I would never get my screen. Then in October, I called Deck City. Within 3 days I was called back. I had an estimate that was more than fair. I called to accept and sent the deposit required. Within a week they came out to inspect the property and confirm the job. Mike made suggestions which showed an understanding of my needs and his knowledge. They were on time and I was still enjoying my deck without feeling I was in a fishbowl and visible to all. I highly recommend Deck City as a reputable company that will listen to your needs and deliver what they promise. I can hardly wait for next year!

The project started earlier than originally anticipated which was a wonderful surprise, allowing us to enjoy our deck the entire summer season. Deck City has done an awesome job on our deck! Everyone on the team is great. The people are knowledgeable, polite, responsive, and professional. Everything is on a schedule, so every part of the process is done on time with no surprises! They have the ability to transform our vision to paper and then to our backyard. The building crew really enjoyed and took pride of what they do. They would measure many times before they make a cut or they will work on something over again if it didn't look perfect. If there were any problems, they would come and fix it right away. Their building techniques match the ones that are professionally documented on the internet. Deck City does everything the right way and they are definitely one of the best in the business in town! I might be able save a few bucks by building it myself but why would I when they can do this in less than a month with top notch quality, I don't have to bust my back and all I have to do is to enjoy it.

Having Deck City build my new deck was a stress-free procedure. In the planning stage the consultant outlined a few suggestions and listened to my request for a specific type of seating/table arrangement to produce a 3D rendering of the finished deck. We chose the building materials from actual samples rather than photos. The ground was carefully prepared, skilled workmen started work on the date set and continued working to complete the job in a timely fashion. Even the neighbors commented on how quietly and professionally the carpenters worked. The result is a deck on which I know I will love to relax and entertain.
