Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

Are you wanting to enjoy coming to work every day? We have an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager. You would be the first contact of our company, answering incoming requests for consults with our design team. You would be needed to manage the day-to-day workings of our office. Are you highly organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently? If you are looking for a rewarding and challenging long term career opportunity, then look no further.

The position will involve a variety of tasks such as:

incoming and outgoing phone calls to homeowners

lead management

booking appointments

maintaining showroom

file management


payroll and reporting

We are a growing company designing and building decks and 3 season rooms for homeowners in and around Winnipeg, Mb. You will be working directly with one of the managing partners and will be aiding in developing systems for growth and development.

You should have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people. We have great people on our team and work with wonderful homeowners who appreciate what we provide for them. If you want to be a part of a positive, supportive and collaborative team and like to solve problems by thinking outside of the box, then this might just be the right position for you!

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 Years Administrative Assistant Experience

2 Years Bookkeeping Experience

Intermediate to advanced abilities in MS Word, Excel and QuickBooks

Basic accounting competency with experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to adapt to challenges and changing work expectations

Demonstrate initiative to learn and develop

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

Additional Skills that would be an asset:

Knowledge and/or experience of the residential construction industry

Competency in WordPress

Knowledge of business accounting

Graphic design experience

Marketing experience

Compensation – $14-16/hr DOQ
